SearchMyFiles Description
SearchMyFiles offers a robust alternative to the built-in "Search For Files And Folders" tool found in Windows. This utility enables you to perform comprehensive searches across your system using various criteria such as wildcards, the dates files were created, modified, or accessed, file attributes, content searches (both text and binary), and even file sizes. With SearchMyFiles, you can execute highly precise searches that the standard Windows search function cannot match; for instance, it allows you to find all files created within the last 10 minutes that fall within a size range of 500 to 700 bytes. After conducting a search, you have the option to select multiple files and either save the resulting list in formats like text, HTML, CSV, or XML, or simply copy the list directly to your clipboard for easy access. This flexibility and precision make SearchMyFiles an invaluable tool for anyone needing to manage and locate files effectively on their computer.
