    Great Alternative for data protection

    Summary: Maybe the best alternative to Apple iOS and Google Android, created in Europe with great compatibility while maintaining data protection and being compatible to GPDR.

    Positive: - Very data protection oriented
    - Own Linux distribution, not based on Android
    - APK App support
    - OpenSource (exception: GUI & apk support)
    - no data selling, no abo (business model is based on one time pay model)
    - no bloatware

    Negative: - Only available for specific smartphone models.
    - has to be bought from Jolla devices or installed manually by the user. (but easy to follow instructions are available).
