SOLIDWORKS CAM Description

SOLIDWORKS®, CAM - powered CAMWorks – uses rules-based technology to allow you to integrate design with manufacturing in one application. This allows you to connect design and manufacturing teams through a single software tool and 3D model. SOLIDWORKS® CAM is an add on to all versions SOLIDWORKSCAD that allows you to prepare your designs for manufacture earlier in the development process. Manufacturing tasks that used to be done after a design was completed can now be done concurrently with the design process. SOLIDWORKS' CAM solutions allow you and your team quickly to move from design to production with an integrated process. SOLIDWORKS' CAM Standard allows you to quickly program individual milled parts or configurations without leaving the SOLIDWORKS 3DCAD environment. SOLIDWORKS Cam gives you full access to the defining rules to build and create to your company's standards.
