Negative: Redwood RunMyJobs is crafted to seamlessly integrate with various business applications; however, some organizations might encounter difficulties when integrating the software with their current systems. Other than this issue, everything else operates smoothly.

Summary: Redwood Software's real-time monitoring and alerts allow administrators to quickly identify and resolve issues by providing visibility into process states. We regularly send data feeds to our BI system and update our systems throughout the day, providing a more current and efficient view of our operations. This approach has significantly reduced technical debt.

Positive: Creating workflows in RunMyJobs is significantly improved. We organize tasks in a logical sequence and they execute automatically in response to events, rather than relying on scheduled updates for daily forecasts. This approach enhances our agility and reliability in process management. The elimination of infrastructure administration has been particularly beneficial. Transitioning from Control-M with Redwood was seamless, and their service team is unparalleled. Additionally, their guidance has enabled us to optimize our workflows effectively.

Negative: I have no complaints. Creating automation scenarios is straightforward, and it operates smoothly without any issues. While the documentation could use some improvement, it has been getting better over time.

Summary: We required a batch processing solution that seamlessly integrates with our current Oracle-based applications. Now, we can effortlessly oversee our batch processing tasks.

Positive: It remains highly stable, and we are pleased with how well it integrates with our current Oracle applications. Additionally, Redwood Support demonstrates a high level of expertise.

Negative: Redwood Finance Automation continues to evolve as new features and adjustments are consistently introduced to enhance its functionality, which, like any software, may occasionally pose challenges. However, the Redwood team is proactive in resolving any issues that arise.

Summary: The boost in efficiency that ActiveBatch Workload Automation offers because of its vast array of tasks is my favorite feature.

Positive: Because we often use its automation functions, it has also allowed us to focus on extra and more essential operations.

Negative: One potential limitation of ActiveBatch could be the initial complexity and significant effort required for the system's installation.

Summary: To load and report the data, a colossal amount of background jobs and processes will need to operate. Redwood does it to absolute perfection.

Positive: The best software feature is RunMyJobs, which schedules jobs, monitors them appropriately, and accurately reports utilization. It merely turns all of the difficult burden tasks into easier ones.

Negative: Additionally, the documentation section can be made easier to understand.

Negative: After a post-patching activity, configuring flows can be challenging. A user guide with examples detailing the configuration process following a refresh would be beneficial

Summary: Redwood can generate complex reports detailing scheduled jobs, chains, and event-triggered jobs based on client requirements. Different queues are designated for various functional parts, which can be enabled or disabled as needed.

Positive: Redwood servers and their functionalities are top-notch, including chains, events, time windows, submit frames, and timezones, which simplify daily tasks. Redwood servers can connect not only with SAP ECC but also with Oracle DB, PeopleSoft, and other systems.

Negative: There’s nothing negative to say about Redwood. Having worked with Redwood from scratch, I found it easy to understand all its options and features. The only minor drawback is that operator messages are displayed both on the home screen and on the operator page to identify which job caused an issue. It would be more convenient if there were an option to send operator messages via email, allowing anyone on the Redwood team to check and acknowledge them directly from their inbox.

Summary: The alerting mechanism in Redwood helps mitigate potential business impacts by providing proactive notifications. It enables operational processes to prioritize their tasks over batch processes more effectively.

Positive: Redwood's ability to seamlessly integrate with various external and legacy systems is notable. Its scheduling interface and flexible time windows for job submissions are standout features. Once jobs are scheduled, there are no delays or disruptions to workflow operations.

Negative: Given the plethora of automation technologies in the market, enhancing connectivity with all cloud platforms remains a priority.

Summary: Redwood is the best automation in the market, I have tried 3 different automaton products but Redwood is the best. There is a lot of customization and adaptability as per the user requirement and It also comes with security to protect sensitive activities.

Positive: I have been using Redwood for over 2 years and the best thing about this product is the optimized alert system. Redwood eliminates the necessity for programming expertise and even a fresher can learn things quickly.

Negative: I feel that UI could be more refined so that It will facilitates easier navigation for the users.

Summary: Redwood surpasses other tools in batch scheduling with its high degree of automation. The recently developed dashboard proves advantageous in detecting any instances where jobs have been omitted from schedules.

Positive: You can monitor system and schedule health on a dashboard that displays the total number of terminated, erroneous, and jobs with extended event waits, eliminating the need for frequent extraction of reports for individual issues.

Negative: As of now, there haven't been any significant issues with the Redwood system. However, there are some minor concerns that the support team should address. Often, when I download a report, it comes in a .CAR format, which complicates the process of converting it to an Excel file.
