Rons WebLynx Description

Rons WebLynx is a Windows desktop application, for organizing and managing bookmarks. Bookmarks are stored in WebLynx documents on the local computer, so are not 'shared' in the cloud and do not rely on third party storage.
Organized into tags and folders in a familiar tree lay-out, bookmarks can be rated with stars and tagged with colors. Their names and descriptions can be edited and notes also can be added. These are only a few features. Links can be added directly to WebLynx from an internet browser .
The bookmarks validity is automatically checked, and the links content can be instantly viewed in an integrated browser or a content-only reading panel.

Export WebLynx files, and link content, to share with other users. All this power is presented with a clean and neat interface that is a pleasure to use.

    Great application (and very different to other bookmark managers)

    Summary: Great application (and very different to other bookmark managers). I love the fact that I can store bookmarks in a separate (private) application and not on my browser. Fun app, loads of features.

    Positive: More secure because it's a desktop app, not on the cloud. Easy to throw links in, to edit them, view their content. Loads of options to organize them. Fun app, I keep on discovering new features and it's regularly updated/improved.

    Negative: I discovered by coincidence that there is a separate extension to download to add links directly to Rons WebLynx from the browser. It's very useful and users should be better informed about it.
