Summary: Overall we are very happy with Riddle and highly recommend. The 1:1 assistance they provide is very good and you will be able to do most anything you can think of with this tool.

Positive: We tried quite a few different quiz platforms on the market and Riddle was the only one that met our needs for the price. We have been using for over a year now and have been able to create quizzes and polls quickly. We have also tied it into Salesforce very easily through an API. Mike from Riddle is probably the most responsive Rep I have ever worked with. Always happy to help find solutions.

Negative: The only con with Riddle is that you might want to know some CSS if you need any special formatting. There aren’t a ton of options in the builder to resize parts but they do offer assistance.

Summary: I would highly recommend Riddle. It's a simple, quick, easy to follow way to make high quality quizzes for your website.

Positive: Love that it's easy to use. It's quick and gives a great easy to follow format. The analytics provided are super helpful and the look of the published quizzes looks professional.

Negative: I just wish they had more creative commons images available to use.

Summary: A good company with enthusiastic and helpful employees. It's fun setting up different experiences for fans and their team help makes those experiences unique.

Positive: There are many different types of polls and forms you can make using this platform and lots of flexibility using it. The support team which are all developers and other staff within the company are super helpful in getting your experience to be the best it can be.

Negative: Sometimes it feels not that intuitive and can be a little difficult to operate. There are lots of customizations you can do with custom CSS but I wish sometimes it was easier to use the platform without writing custom code. The support team is very helpful in setting up things in CSS though and with any questions you may have.

Summary: Using Riddle is a great solution for us, we use the branching quiz logic a lot and love the integration with stock image databases and the other new design features. We can create content easily and to a really high quality and feel supported by the Riddle team every step of the way! Strong recommend.

Positive: The ability to use branching logic and create game-like experiences is perfect.

Negative: Branching logic gets a bit gnarly in the backend from time to time - perhaps it could be simpler to use.
The odd bug here and there.
It's quite geared to getting leads and capturing data which we dont use often - as making quizzes primarily for kids audiences.

Summary: Riddle has been a valuable tool for my media organization for almost two years. We create quizzes and polls/surveys for both lead generation and audience engagement, and haven't found a better product on the market. Their data layer also allows my team to do some important experiments to get to know our audience better.

Mike & the rest of the Riddle team offer some of the best customer support I've found for any SaaS, and the final product is highly customizable for your brand. And they never raise prices for existing customers!

Summary: Overall very happy with the product and highly recommend every marketer like me to use this platform and you will not go to any other platform in future.

Positive: No limit on Quiz responses and collecting leads.
People can see responses from other people on quiz on each option so they know what other people selected and it increases engagement. I can set conditional logic to display dynamic quiz result page. I can embed it on any platform. The pricing is less than industry standard for the quality it delivers.

Negative: The conditional logic section is a bit laggy, but resetting it works like a charm.

Summary: I know I listed more cons than pros, but it has the granular GTM tracking we need so it's ultimately been worth it to us. For most people, I would assume Typeform or one the many, many other tools out there that can be used to build a quiz might be better value.

Positive: It's got very robust GTM tracking options and amazingly responsive support. Appreciate that it's more of a technically advanced quiz builder instead of some others that are pretty, but ultimately offer very little in the way of customizations and APIs.

Negative: While it has a lot of great advanced features, it's historically been missing some really basic ones, like hidden fields or viewing the contact info of lead takers within the web UI. Those have been added in recently which is good, but riddle is extremely expensive so it feels like we've been overpaying for years and it should have had those things much earlier. It also crazy that they charge extra per user, so as an agency that might have different people (designer, copywriter, etc) wanting to collaborate on a quiz at the same time and doesn't want to pay for each user, it's very inconvenient. Finally, the options for branching are somewhat limited and confusing compared to other tools we've used. Using percent values (i.e score was in the 25% - 50% percentile) to branch to different results instead of basic numbers (i.e. score was greater than or equal to 20) is another very confusing choice. Conditional branching based on specific answers from earlier in the quiz (instead of just the current answer) like we can do in Typeform would also be very welcome.
