Effortless Online Rent Collection Date: Aug 20 2024
Summary: Honestly, the experience was so good especially after their makeover. I've been using them for 12 of my units and it's the easiest app I've used so far. 12 units have 20 families each with each different move in dates, its so hard for an old dude to remember them, but fortunately I just setup reminders and streamlined WO.
Positive: Rent collection was never easy for us, thanks to RentPost, it has become extremely streamlined. It wasn't easy for me to manage WO, followup rent collection for 12 units. Thankfully I have been using RentPost for past 8 months now
Negative: Support could have been better. I understand their issues but still it seems they're not doing their job correctly. However everything else is smooth

RentPost’s communication stopped bleeding into my personal life Date: Jan 13 2026
Summary: Before this, my texts were a mess and I was constantly context-switching. Now I check messages when I’m ready, everything is documented, and nothing spills into my personal phone anymore. That boundary alone made this feature worth it.
Positive: 1. Tenants message me through RentPost instead of blowing up my personal number.
2. Messages stay tied to the unit and tenant, so I always know who I’m talking to and why.
3. Photos and documents stay in the thread instead of getting sent separately and lost.Negative: The mobile browser can feel a bit slow when loading older conversations.

RentPost fixed my turnover chaos. Edited: Oct 31 2025
Summary: Turnover season used to be a mental scramble of sticky notes and forgotten tasks. RentPost structured the chaos. It’s excellent for keeping track of all
Positive: I can log move-out dates, set up cleaning/repair tasks, and immediately start a new lease process without any confusion between tenants. Payment tracking is super detailed, which is critical for calculating final security deposit
Negative: A built-in, customizable turnover checklist feature would be an amazing addition to help track cleaning, painting, etc. Right now, it's mostly manual task entry.

Setting up automatic late fees with RentPost is so easy Date: Jul 26 2025
Summary: Automating late fees means less awkward conversations and more consistent cash flow. This is one of the smarter features RentPost offers.
Positive: RentPost offers customizable late fee policies, letting me set rules that fit my needs. The automatic application of fees saves me a lot of time and hassle. Tenants can clearly see any fees on their accounts, which helps keep things transparent.
Negative: The late fee notifications could be more detailed to avoid confusion. Sometimes tenants still call asking questions about their fees, which could be reduced with clearer communication.

Summary: Overall, if you’re serious about saving time and staying organized, RentPost is 100% worth it. Reporting is simple too, which helps a lot during tax season.
Positive: It’s made property management so much smoother for me. The auto-reminders for rent are great, now I barely have to follow up anymore. Plus, it automatically applies late fees, which saves me from awkward conversations.
Negative: Managing stuff from my phone when I'm out doing property visits would be way easier. So a mobile app is needed.
