PrusaSlicer Description
PrusaSlicer, our in-house-developed slicer software, is based on the open source project Slic3r. PrusaSlicer, an open-source, feature-rich and frequently updated tool, contains everything you need in order to create the perfect print files for your Prusa 3D printer. PrusaSlicer is built on Slic3r by Alessandro Ranellucci. It is completely free and open-source. We can continue to add functionality thanks to the Prusa Research core team and strong community. You can follow the development process via Github. You can paint custom supports directly on your model! You can also block the automatically generated supports in certain areas. You can also use custom meshes to block support and enforcers. Everything is saved in the project file and can be customized. Prusa Research's developers and testers are always working on presets for more than 150+ filaments. We are constantly adding profiles to the site, following the most popular manufacturers.
