PromoBeacon is an application designed for Shopify that tracks discounts on newly placed orders. The app begins by analyzing your recent order history to establish what typical promotions look like for your store, subsequently identifying orders that deviate from this norm and providing straightforward explanations in plain language. It flags various anomalies such as abnormally high discounts, unexpected stacking of codes, unusually large discount amounts, promotions that apply to a significantly greater number of items than usual, and discount codes that are suddenly being utilized more frequently, which can indicate a potential leak; for quicker notifications, you can mark codes that you have not shared as Private. Users on paid plans will receive email notifications when an order requires their attention, allowing for efficient management of their promotions. Each flagged order can be reviewed and categorized as expected, resolved, or ignored. Importantly, PromoBeacon operates in a read-only capacity: it does not modify, block, or create discounts on its own. The free plan allows for monitoring of up to 100 orders per month, while the Starter plan at $12 per month covers 500 orders, and the Pro plan at $24 per month accommodates up to 2,500 orders, both of which include email alerts and offer a 7-day trial period for new users.
