Automatic construction estimates and BoQs are possible with DWG, DXF or PDF. PriMusTAKEOFF is quantity takeoff software. It allows you to quickly and accurately calculate cost estimates by extracting measurement data directly from your project files. "Quantity Take Off" refers to all operations that allow a quantity surveyor to extract relevant data from a drawing, and then prepare a cost estimate for what is graphically represented in a project. It is an international term that refers to a software program that can also acquire measurements from a drawing that has been saved in one of the many electronic formats (DWG or DXF), or a raster (previously vectorized). PriMus TAKEOFF allows quantity surveyors to save the drawing information as well as the corresponding cost estimate data in the DWG files. This creates unity between the two types of document that other software does not support.
