Amazing Features! Date: Jan 03 2022
Summary: Making Studio One as my main audio editing software has been helpful to me throughout the years. Through voiceovers that I do on my school projects and even at other smalltime projects, and also to the simple song covers that I make. It took me some time to adapt and understand its design language but overall it has been a great experience using this product!
Positive: ∙ Recording Inputs are Easy to Configure
∙ Can easily review recordings
∙ Supports multitracking and Instrument input
∙ Can add VST plugins
∙ Has great built-in effectsNegative: ∙ UI is a bit complicated to adapt for first timers.

More features than Pro Tools, better, more active development, better price and better workflow Date: Mar 29 2021
Summary: Overall, I've had little to no problems using Studio One in the 3 years I've used it. I've even upgraded a few times. Seriously, I couldn't recommend this DAW enough. The only complaint I have is the customer support. But even that's made up for in the community based around this DAW.
Positive: I've been using studio one for 3 years now and it is the best, easiest to use DAW I've tried to this date. I also own Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and used to own FL Studio, but I actually prefer Studio One to all of these. It has an option to buy windy of the 3 tiers in full up front, OR you can get EVERYTHING PreSonus has to offer (software-wise) for just $15.99 a month. It'll also go on sale for $13.99 quite often.
Negative: There's not much to dislike about studio one, but it would be good if they added VST support to their lowest tier, Prime. I started out on it and it held me back a lot back in the day. Also, the first party customer support is really slow (I've waited upwards of 2 weeks for help before). If you need help fast, though, Studio One still has a really large and growing community of amazing people who are always willing to help.
