Summary: To use animated media in a presentation, or in educational/instructional videos can make the difference between OK and Great. Powtoon has found a good balance between keeping it easy, yet flexible with quite a few choices. However, for full video productions other tools are more advanced.

Positive: -simple to use for business users

Negative: -limited in its capabilities (both advantage and disadvantage)

Summary: Powtoon is an Intuitive animated presentation tool. I used this for brand marketing promotion. It offers beautiful animations with the option to add text awareness. I highly recommend this tool.

Summary: I use Powtoon for all my Social Media video ads, Keynote speaking engagements, and my training courses. It's unbelievably versatile and applicable. And it's just really fun to use. The ROI Powtoon gives us is amazing.

Negative: It takes a little bit to learn but you will not be sorry you did.

Summary: It's really good for what it is. I'd watch some videos online about how it works before paying for it to see if it suits you're needs. My experience with it has been in a classroom. At its price, it's not outside a teacher's budget. It can be a fun tool to use to see what students come up with for creative writing type projects.

Positive: You can do a lot of different kinds of animations with this. It's really whatever you want. They give you plenty of default things to mess with. The price is really good for what you can do with this. You won't be making stellar amazing animations, but this works great for simple business, class stuff, and marketing that doesn't need a ton of flash to it.

Negative: There used to be a really nice free version that still had a lot of functionality, but they killed most of that abruptly so now nearly all the functionality of the product is locked behind paying. Not a big issue and the price is definitely fair, it's just there wasn't a big warning about that sudden shift in what you could do for free. The animations themselves have a lot of variety but a lot of the art is very cheesy. Personally, really wish businesses would move away from these types of designs in general, but they seem to think customers and staff don't roll their eyes at that stuff.
