PostGIS Description
PostGIS is a spatial extension for the PostgreSQL object relational database. It supports geographic objects, allowing location queries in SQL to be run. PostGIS provides many features that are not available in other spatial databases, such as Oracle Locator/Spatial or SQL Server. PostGIS can use the PostgreSQL 14 faster GiST building support API. Compiling with GEOS 3.10.1 is possible to take advantage of the speed improvements and improvements in ST_MakeValid.

Iggy
Iggy can be added to your product in under an hour. We handle all the details so that you can concentrate on building a great product. It can be difficult to make use of location data, but it doesn’t have to be. It's simple to use and powerful thanks to a few lines code. Iggy's toolkit provides simple endpoints that scale with your application. You don't have to download a large file. PostGIS doesn't require a Postgres database. You don't have to know anything about spatial indexing. You don't require any special software. To get the data you need, all you need is some locations. You can send your location to the API and choose from the many data options we have. The API will then return the data for the locations you need. You can then use the data however you like. All the complex bits are taken care of by us.

Kinetica
A cloud database that can scale to handle large streaming data sets. Kinetica harnesses modern vectorized processors to perform orders of magnitude faster for real-time spatial or temporal workloads. In real-time, track and gain intelligence from billions upon billions of moving objects. Vectorization unlocks new levels in performance for analytics on spatial or time series data at large scale. You can query and ingest simultaneously to take action on real-time events. Kinetica's lockless architecture allows for distributed ingestion, which means data is always available to be accessed as soon as it arrives. Vectorized processing allows you to do more with fewer resources. More power means simpler data structures which can be stored more efficiently, which in turn allows you to spend less time engineering your data. Vectorized processing allows for incredibly fast analytics and detailed visualizations of moving objects at large scale.
