By far the best 3D modeling software available for product design or 3D artist.

    Edited: Jan 17 2025

Summary: I absolutely love it! I recommend this software to every designer I run into. I even recommend it to people who have no idea what I'm talking about.

Positive: Speed, ease of use, accurate dimensioning, incredible surfacing. If you disagree, you haven't used it (or not long enough). If you dislike the lack of design history (not parametric) and lack of DFM attributes, figure it out with a workflow that works with other CAD software (I did). I'm a mechanical engineer that won't go a day without this CAD gem. Oh, and it's a ONE TIME PURCHASE!

Negative: Not parametric, no live lofting, some bugs with new releases, but they quickly fix them. The power of speed and ease of use allows creativity and functional design to coexist, so the benefits far outweigh the limitations.
