Not A Canva Replacement Yet, But They Are Off To A Great Start! Date: Aug 04 2023
Summary: Overall, Plasfy is a great newcomer in the graphic design space. They seem dedicated to improving and adding new features. Here are a few of my suggestions:
-Add more print-on-demand categories like mugs and calendars
-Add an integrations section on the side toolbar, more integrations, and allow users to link their accounts
-Make a desktop appPositive: -Plasfy has a lot of templates and design categories, and can replace Canva for some depending on your needs, but it does not fully replace Canva (especially after their latest update).
-I like the integrations of Pixabay, Pexels, and Unsplash.
-Their templates are great, and their UI is pretty easy to learn.Negative: -I don't like the side navigation bar. It could use some revamping to add all of the options on the homepage and accounts sections in nice menus and submenus with dropdown bars.

-The font upload feature is based on approval and seems to be one at a time. It would be helpful to have a bulk upload. -

Excellent design tool with great potential Date: Aug 01 2023
Summary: Plasfy is a great design tool using which you can create awesome graphics with plenty of templates separated by various categories. You can quickly create book covers, YouTube thumbnails, social media quotes, and much more. You just need to select a template and edit the default content by selecting the relevant placeholders. You can also add your own cliparts, background color, elements, emojis, and much more just by selecting the relevant option from the left-side navigation panel. I very much liked the way we can easily create a YouTube Thumbnail. It only takes less than 2 minutes to create an awesome thumbnail. The product team has done a great job to deliver a product that works in the real world. I would appreciate if the company provides video tutorials so that beginners will be able to learn the working of the tool. Plasfy will be useful for beginners and even senior citizens because of its ability to quickly create graphics for all project types. I highly recommend Plasfy for all web design projects.
Positive: Plasfy simplifies the designing tasks. You just need to select a template and edit to create graphics. The tool ships with several customization options and is simple to use without any learning experience.
Negative: Sometimes, Plasfy loads slow and the company should improve this aspect. Moreover, the team should provide helpful hints on the dashboard to simplify the design task.

My thoughts and experience with the Plasfy software Date: Jul 16 2023
Summary: Overall, Plasfy represents an application that eases productive work with graphics and designs in a clear and user-friendly way. Plasfy is suitable for both beginners and advanced users who have graphic and design tasks to complete. Extensive creative approaches can be realized. In special cases, the graphics and designs created with Plasfy can be customized and specified in combination with another stand alone graphics program.
Positive: Plasfy is a cloud-based application that allows you to create professional-looking graphics and designs in a simple way. For such creating of professional-looking graphics and designs, Plasfy offers thousands of templates in more than 100 formats to choose from. In addition, Plasfy offers several established file formats that can be adapted and used. The created graphics and design can be imported from numerous formats and exported to numerous formats such as JPG, PNG, SVG and PDFs.
The advantages of Plasfy as an application are its clear user interface and intuitive usability. The navigation elements invite their use and are arranged in a comprehensible way. In terms of content, Plasfy offers enough templates to let your own creativity flow.Negative: Plasfy does provide millions of images, symbols and fonts to combine them as you wish graphically and design-wise. However, Plasfy cannot substitute a standalone graphics program in terms of generating your own unique images, symbols and fonts. Therefore, for special requirements, it makes sense to complement Plasfy with a stand-alone graphics program. The functions of user-defined dimensions and background remover support this.

Excellent graphic design platform Edited: Jul 21 2023
Summary: I wanted an alternative to the most popular graphics platform we all know, I didn't want to use the same patterns that everyone uses (because let's face it: even if we have 1000 graphics to choose from, eventually we fall on the 10 most beautiful ones and we all use those).
Plasfy allows me to vary. It doesn't have amazing features but the quick and immediate ones that I and 90% of the users need.Positive: - possibility to prepare any graphics for web and social or ads
- many ready-made templates
- easy to use to edit templates
- template graphics
- assistance: very kind and quick, only used once, you can tell they care about itNegative: UI graphics should be improved. This saas is very usable but first-time users might be swayed by the interface graphics thinking that it is not a good product, and that is absolutely not true. In addition, the templates are graphically sound....

The Start of Something Great - For Me Date: Jun 28 2023
Summary: I've been testing out this software, as we use several didn't applications to do what we need at any given time. We already use VistaCreate & Adobe Express, but sometimes they just don't do what is required.
I find the website can be a little slow at times, but nothing that stops me from using it. There are some good designs available, as sometimes you do run dry on ideas and these can be a good starting point.
There are a few teething problems, but from what I can see, these are being worked on. An example of a couple of these, is that sometimes when using a masked image, placing an outline just moves the object instead of adding an outline. Another one is that I've not found a way to move an object once it has been masked.
Having said this, there is plenty within the software to make it well worth the price. There is access to websites such as Pexels, Pixabay & Unsplash within the software, so you should never have a problem finding what you need, and the masking is a really nice touch and very easy to use.Positive: Lots of options.
Easy to add things such as outline & shadow.
Access to millions of images.
Some good looking designs.
Not just for the web, print also.Negative: A little bit of a learning curve.

Negative: The server a little slow, it's a shame. This may be due to the fact that I am in France, but it is not too embarrassing...

Promising alternative to Canva Edited: Nov 17 2023
Summary: It's a great promising alternative to Canva, but need to fix the kinks asap.
Positive: Offers lots of capabilities similar to Canva at fraction of the cost. Large # of included templates, images, frames etc.
Negative: Performance - application is very slow, easy to lose interest

Usability - Glitches on working with elements e.g. text box not easily selectable or movable. Pictures don't show correctly when dropped in frames. -

Don’t buy this product Date: Apr 09 2024
Summary: I logged a support ticket, again got confirmation, this time from a different support@ email address, so I decided to forward the whole email convo I was having before on the other support email asking for an update, only to get a response back that I should not log multiple tickets (?! I logged one…..) saying they have millions of users that don’t have this problem, asking me for the file name and an extensive description of the problem I having (which I only send to them 5 time in chat, email, ticket system)
Clearly these people don’t know what they are doing, they keep sending me around the bush and I haven’t received any form of support yet in the 6 month i have been having these problems after purchasing their lifetime subscription.
Don’t buy this software, save yourself the stress!Positive: None nothing nada zip zilch I have nothing but issues and trouble with it and support is not doing anything.
Negative: Bought this software as it promised to be like Canva (which I love) but with a lifetime key.

Since day one I have been experiencing multiple problems with this software and getting support seems to be impossible (and not for a lack of trying on my part)
The problems:
Regularly when loading a template the template gets messed up and doesn’t look like it should (still no support on this 6 months later)
Regularly background removal doesn’t work, I sometimes need to try 5-6 times before the background is removed and sometimes it doesn’t remove at all (no error, and still no support on this after 6 months)
Regularly I am no longer able to upload images from my pc. No error messages, it just doesn’t display the uploaded images
My current project is not able to save, I’ve tried it many times, both with the save template as well as the normal save button, saving as a new design etc. It saves the first 1-3 images in my project and the rest it ignores. This leads me to loosing my work constantly! Extremely frustrating! So I started to download the images as soon as I created them and that worked for the first 20 and after that the downloaded images where a jumble of readable and transparent all within the same images (which is not how I designed them). And when I discover a typo in an image I have to create the whole dam thing again because I am not able to save all the images I create.
I asked for support on this more than a month ago via chat, they told me to log a ticket, I logged a ticket, got confirmation of the ticket and nothing happened, no support. After 2 weeks I inquired about the status of my ticket to be told no ticket was logged for me. I could contact support directly via email. I contacted support directly via email and got a response back, but only to the part of it that was about the now downloading well, everything I wrote about it not even saving was ignored. I send an email back explaining everything again, telling them what file to look for and again after two weeks of no response decided to email them asking for an update only to get an automated response that that email address (a support@ email address!!) was not being monitored and that I should log a ticket! You understand my frustration!
