    Charges more for slow service, support MIA. Update: eventually got paid

    Summary: If you are a small campaign like mine, you need donations ASAP. Having to wait 2 weeks is a pain. The fees are excessive especially given the slow turnaround on donations. Support is non-existent at this point, I tried emailing and calling. No one appears to be home. I have filed complaints with both my Attorney General and GoDaddy.

    Final update: The former did the trick, as this got the attention my problem needed. My account is now operational. The poor rating remains due to the amount of hassle and delay due to non-communication.

    Positive: I am a one-man local political campaign. I do not care to have my personal ID info online, so the fact I didn't have to send a copy of a government ID was a huge plus. I typically imprint "COPY" on any such submission to curtail ID theft. Now places such as Stripe and others use automated technology (no humans involved) to scan the ID, and if anything is on it, it is rejected.

    It was easy to integrate the donation page onto my website.

    Unfortunately, those are the only good thing about them so far.

    Negative: The time needed to process and receive donated funds, as well as the cost. The stated times are 2-3 business days to process the money, then up to 6 more business days for me to get it. They charge 7.9% plus 30 cents per transaction. On a $100 donation, that's 8.2 %. Others I looked at were around 5%.

    Like most of us, I'm writing a review since there was a problem. I got my first donation on 4/25, which as of today 5/7 is 9 business days ago. I still do not have that money. I've contacted support and am waiting to hear back.

    Update- I used their support form to email them, no reply after a business day. I tried the support@ email only to get an undeliverable address error. I tried calling their listed number several times, it is steadily busy. Are they still in business?

    Update #2: It's been 12 business days since my first donation, and still no money. No contact, so I have filed complaints with my Attorney General for theft, as well as with their site host, GoDaddy for inaccurate contact info on their site.

    Update #3: I filed a complaint with my state attorney general's office and sent this info to the rally.org email address. That got a response. Turns out my account was on some type of fraud review. My funds were finally released on 5/12. GoDaddy also replied that the servers belong to Amazon.
