PiSrc Aperture Description
Aperture provides a gallery view of the folders you configure in AEM. This gives non-authors a clean interface that is searchable and can be browsed. The folder slide show lets you navigate images within a particular folder in a slideshow-format. There are additional controls for downloading files. Aperture automatically crops images based upon pre-defined aspect proportions by using image boundary detection. Cropped images are then resized and fed into AEM renditions to create perfect thumbnails and pre-views. The DAM shouldn't be a place to put assets to die. Aperture allows you to open your DAM by creating galleries from selected folder paths. The gallery can be shared on the corporate intranet, or made available to a wider audience.
