PhysicalAddress.com Description

PhysicalAddress.com, one of the few virtual mail and virtual business address services, manages all physical address locations. Each location is staffed by PhysicalAddress.com associates. No matter where you are located, your mail will be delivered to a PhysicalAddress.com address and processed onsite by PhysicalAddress.com associates. Mail handling and physical addresses are not outsourced to any third-parties. Additionally, mail is not forwarded to other locations and processed at a later time as standard industry practices. This business model is more expensive and more complicated than using third-party addresses. However, it allows us to provide clients with a more stable and reliable experience that is reliable, efficient, reliable and seamless.

    Fast, Convenient and Responsive

    Date: Jan 26 2023

Summary: I started a home based business last year and did not want my home address publicly listed. I called with questions prior to signing up to make sure this would remain private and spoke to a live person who helped. I wanted to get an address local to where I live, but they don't have one in my state. The agent was able to address my concerns and explain how this service works, which is something I have never had the need for. She explained how content scanning and forwarding worked so I wouldn't miss any vital mail for my new business. I have used this service for almost 6 months now and have had no issues with mail delivery to the address or mail forwarded to my house. When I ask for an item to be opened and scanned, it is always done within 24 hours, most of the time the same day.

I highly recommend anyone who needs a company to handle their mail, they use PhysicalAddress.com.

Positive: Sign up took less than 10 minutes; they provide a link for an online notary service you can use for your mail form; fast response to emails and there is a live person who answers the phone when you call. I had to leave a voice mail and someone called me back by the end of the same day.

Negative: Limited address selections, they are only in 8 states but plan on opening more. Phone APP does not replace the website for some features.

    Good company

    Date: Jun 26 2022

Summary: Mail is delivered properly. The scanning is done well. There is no cost to forward which is nice. and the staffs are nice.

Positive: Dallas location is bad neighborhood. I do not trust having mailing sent to a rough area of town. I hope they will change the location to a nice location.

Negative: Other locations are in good neighborhoods. I like the New York address and the Atlanta and Las Vegas address.

DO NOT USE - Extreme Mail Delays

    Date: Apr 25 2024

Summary: Service doesn't work when so much mail is delayed by months, so nothing else matters. The price, features, etc. are all irrelevant if I can't receive mail.

Positive: In theory, the service would be great. The app and website is not feature rich, but it has the basic functionality needed and is easy to use. Can't argue with the price.

Negative: Mail is often delayed 1-3 months...I have mail come in literally 90 days later all the time. Office keeps saying they scan all mail within 24 hours and it's the post office, but I don't understand how that is possible.

The extremely delayed mail seems to be isolated to mailing centers, such as FirstData, and other locations where banks outsource their mailing and letters. For example, if I hand write a letter and send it to myself, then it arrives in my inbox in a reasonable amount of time - but credit cards, bank letters, IRS comms, etc, take FOREVER.

Extremely slow mail at Orlando location

    Date: Mar 01 2024

Summary: I have been a customer since 2021. Over the years, about 90% of the mail is received 6-10 weeks after the post mark.
The company representatives assure me that all mail is scanned within 24 hours of receipt from the post office. Further I was told all of their locations experience these delays and that it's not isolated to Orlando because the USPS continues to deliver mail with delays nation wide.
This claim does not reconcile with USPS statistics. The USPS mail standards is a worse case 6 day delivery from the west coast, and the USPS says "the Postal Service is delivering 96.5% of mail within one day of its service standard".
Either the problem is with PhysicalAddress.com or their Orlando post office has serious problems and this company and every other business it services should be having constant meetings with their post master about fixing this problem.
Regardless of where the problem is, despite my many reports about slow mail over the past 3 years, nothing has been done to solve the problem.

Positive: Software is easy to use, intuitive and has all the needed features. Pricing is reasonable. Company responds to messages.

Negative: About 90% of the mail arrives in 6-10 weeks. The company insists the problem is with USPS.

    DON'T SIGN UP

    Date: Oct 11 2023

Summary: My problem is that I have not received multiple checks, a replacement credit card mailed from a bank, and an item mailed from the state MONTHS ago. Occasionally I do receive stuff and its usually 4-8 weeks after the postmark! A few days delay, okay, sure, but weeks??!?! I complained about this and they blamed the post office but I am not having USPS mail delays at my address nor the replacement mailbox I opened.

This highly inconvenienced me in multiple ways. Not only did I receive toll-by-mail notices late by over a month past the due date, but I had ordered a customized license plate to be delivered there and it never showed. When I called up the DMV, they told me their USPS deliver notification said it had been delivered. Where did it go? I had to go back to the DMV and spend two hours ordering another copy and explaining why I never received it.

Where is the mail going??? Well when I went in there to pick up the few pieces of mail that did show up, I noticed multiple huge boxes of mail laying around, and the employees didn't exactly look busy scanning it in when I arrived.

    Also problematic:
    1. my ID wasn't checked when I picked up the contents of my box, nor my girlfriend's box who I signed up in the beginning.
    2. Employees are dressed unprofessionally, one was wearing a cat shirt. Imagine my surprise on the quality of service matching the dress code here.
    3. Work week hours 9-5pm are also inconvenient since mail is delivered on Saturdays and not everyone can get away from the office on the lunch-hour to do a mail run. I knew that before I signed up, but they should have a Saturday schedule, at least half a day.

Know this: you cannot set up mail forwarding from a CMRA to somewhere else. Another inconvenience for mail that might be in progress.

Physicaladdress offers a good sales pitch, but unfortunately they don't deliver. Literally.

Positive: The theory of the product. Website interface is decent. When you complain, someone calls you to make excuses.

Negative: HIGHLY UNRELIABLE mail service. Should rename it to roll-a-die-address because it seems like only about 20% of my mail got through to me and its very unacceptable.

    Completely useless customer service

    Date: Sep 06 2023

Summary: I tried them out because apparently they have great online reviews. That is a complete lie. The customer service is condescending and unhelpful. They try their best to not have to do any work. I closed my account and have gone with another service.

Positive: Online service with a lot of purported bells and whistles, However the website is archaic and appears to have not been updated in a long time.

Negative: Poor poor VERY POOR customer service - the website is archaic and appears to have not been updated in a long time.

    Stay away!

    Date: Dec 14 2022

Summary: Take your business elsewhere - its not worth the risks to your business. We could have avoided all of the stress and pain this company has given to us if they answered honestly when we called them in the first place about setting up an account with them.

Positive: In theory the service they provide SOUNDS great, only if they could actually do what they claim......

Negative: My boss and I have experienced nothing but issues with this company. This company claims to offer content scanning services for incoming mail but due to one associate's allergy to what arrives in our envelopes, we can no longer get our items scanned and will no longer need their services. Now, keep in mind that before we starting getting our mail delivered through PA services, I called and ASKED before signing up if what I was getting delivered was OK for the content scanning services. We were told there were NO problems on their end with what mail was going to be arriving.

While we are sorry that an associate has an allergy, we hired this company to scan our mail and due to PA having one associate that works in the WHOLE ENTIRE SUITE having an allergy, none of our mail can be scanned. We have to pay mega $$ to get the mail forwarded until we can close out PA services. Again, we were told before we signed up for their services that they had no problem with what going to be delivered to them.

We made changes to our business to accommodate the associate's allergy by making sure our customers sent mail to our PA address in bags but my boss just got warned that the associate is still too allergic. Which we are so sorry for the associate but why should this be taken out on us? What kind of a business is run with only one associate? If they had other staff, then this would not be an issue.

Please note that we have a couple accounts with PA due to our first account in Orlando MISSING 40 pieces of mail. That's right folks, 40 pieces. Imagine the disruption to your business when 40 pieces of mail individually addressed from customers never arrives. I sure hope PA are looking into their Orlando addresses so other businesses don't get screwed. We were trying to close out our Orlando location with the new location but now we are being told they cannot provide their services to us.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

    Date: Nov 15 2022

Summary: Do not do business with them if you want to risk missing mail. I have customers every day that are popping up with their mail missing.

Positive: I like the idea of the company if they could perform what they said. They can scan the content of your mail, forward it, etc. At least if the mail arrives.

Negative: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOUR MAIL WILL GET LOST AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP YOU! I hope at least one person reads this and runs far away from this company.

Zero customer service. Calls and emails are returned 24 hours later. No one wants to help me solve the problem of 10+ pieces of mail being lost because the mail isn't tracked. I spoke to the manager from Las Vegas and you could just tell he was unhappy being on the phone with me. Wouldn't help me solve the problem just kept whining like a little girl on how it's not the company's fault. Told me I could buy another address and see how that goes.

There was no trying to solve the issue. Why would I want to pay for another address through this company when already my mail is missing? How about they look into it or offer me one month free trial of another address through their company. You know to show me that their company is legit, not a scam, and that my mail will be received.

One month ago before using my new address through this company, not ONE single piece of mail was lost. Now, every day I have customers coming out of the woodwork asking if we received their samples in the mail only for us to realize that it is lost in the mail.

Im not saying that this company itself is losing my mail - perhaps the issue is with the postmaster down there, but no one wants to help me solve it. So now I will have to find another company to use or go back to using the USPS again.

PhysicalAddress doesn't care about you. It's all about the almighty dollar.
