Photivo Description
Photivo (GPL3) is a free and open-source photo processor. It can handle your RAW files and bitmap files (TIFF and JPEG, BMP and more) in a nondestructive 16-bit processing pipe with gimp workflow integration. Photivo strives to provide the best algorithms, even if it means some redundancy. It is the only open-source software that offers the most flexible and powerful denoise sharpen, local contrast (fake HDR), algorithms. (If they don't exist, let us port them. There may be some learning curve to achieve the desired results. Photivo is a developer and not a manager. It is intended to be used in a workflow together with digiKam/F-Spot/Shotwell and Gimp. It requires a very powerful computer and is not intended for beginners.
