    Summary: I just love PerfectIt - I would go so far as to say that it has changed my life. I can spend my time thinking about the content of my proposals rather than worrying about semi-colons and hyphens. I also love the company - they are very friendly and supportive.

    Positive: It's an add-in in Word - no security issues and really fast and easy to use - you just click 'launch' from the ribbon inside the document and then 'run PerfectIt' each time. I run it several times when I'm working on proposals.
    It saves me hours checking long documents for minor errors. Literally, hours. And it gives me confidence that the document I submit has had a through quality control check.
    The 14-day free trial is actually free - no credit card details required
    It's just really clever - runs 27 checks across the whole document and points out inconsistencies. Eg if you have capitalized a heading on one page and not on another or if you have used US spelling here and UK spelling there. It can even eliminate double spaces after periods and remind you to define acronyms.
    It can be customized for House Style - eg preferred spellings.
    It's cheap - it's only $70 per year, and with my APMP discount I get 30% off.

    Negative: I wish there was an option to pay monthly rather than annually but I appreciate that PerfectIt don't take credit card details and automatic renewals because I'm the type of person who always forgets to cancel!
