EdPay is user-friendly and straightforward, designed to minimize errors while facilitating accurate input. We have structured the rollout of EdPay features gradually, ensuring each function is fully developed and tested prior to release. Additionally, EdPay enhances the speed and precision of payroll data for educational institutions, boosts automation, and alleviates numerous challenges faced by payroll administrators, particularly those involving lengthy manual paperwork. Our initial testing of EdPay commenced in March 2019, engaging payroll administrators and principals across 11 schools, which expanded to 15 schools in May and surged to 200 by July. Following positive responses, we offered the platform to an additional 1,000 schools in September 2019, completing the rollout to all remaining schools by the close of that year. EdPay has now fully replaced Novopay Online and incorporates nearly all the functionalities of the previous forms-based system, with the remaining features being developed progressively as they undergo testing. Furthermore, this transition signifies a significant advancement in payroll management for educational institutions, streamlining processes that were once cumbersome and time-consuming.
