The primary distinction between Pedigree Publisher (PP) and Pedigree Cloud (PC) lies in the fact that PC encompasses all the capabilities of PP while extending beyond them. While PP is limited to opening a .DB desktop file stored locally on your device, preventing any real-time sharing with other users, PC offers the ability to open .DB files as well as connections to one or more MySQL database servers. This functionality enables group members to access the same MySQL databases simultaneously, facilitating collaborative viewing and editing of data.
