PeaZip is a free file archiver utility that can open extract RAR,TAR, and ZIP files. Linux x86_64 and x86 are supported operating systems. Linux ARM and aarch64 experimental support. PeaZip is a free program that uses open-source technologies such as 7-Zip/p7zip, Facebook Zstandard fast compressor, FreeArc and Google Brotli fast compressor, PAQ family compressors, secure file storage and encryption PEA project and other free software file compression programs. Cross-platform and cross architecture, the same GUI application for Linux, macOS and Windows. It provides full-featured file management and archive management on all platforms. Also, it is portable. Supports more than 200 archive formats, including powerful compressors such as ZPAQ and 7Z, as well as fast compressors such Brotli or Zstandard. Also, allows you to convert archives.

    Poweful archive utility

    Summary: If you want more features than 7zip, then PeaZip is an excellent recommendation. It has great UI and supports majority of the formats.

    Positive: Free & Open source.
    Supports 180+ archive formats.
    Cross-platform - available on windows and linux.
    Can be used for private or professional use.

    Negative: It's heavy on resources and although has more features than 7zip is slower.
