However, individual OEMs are not motivated to consolidate their data. Otonomo, a neutral third-party, aligns OEMs with the many valuable apps and services that use car information. Third-party apps or services have easy access to data, while OEMs retain control over who can access their data. Our platform uses patented technology that cleanses, normalizes, and enriches automotive data to make it immediately available to our ecosystem partners. To save time and money in development, we create enriched datasets that include third-party sources, aggregated events and metrics.
