Summary: A very interesting platform that gives you more access to your data and pages than many modern sites. There are multiple spots that enable you to write raw SQL so you can grab exactly the data you're looking for. And if you want you can make all sorts of patches on pages with a bit of javascript. Chances are that you'll need to spend a good amount of time up front thinking through the design for your workflow - which custom fields go with which types of records. But since you can configure it all on the fly you will only need to reach out to support when you don't know how to accomplish your thing. And their support has always been friendly to me.
Positive: Allows you to create your own custom fields which apply to Customers or to their particular records.
You can build any number of reports your own way, changing the column names, ordering, sorting. And for things that are more complex you can drop in a SQL snippet to get exactly the data and format you want.
Lets you construct "Print Forms" which can be used for letters, fancier reports, signable PDFs, and more if you know javascript.
Has a customer facing portal. Customers have their own set of uploaded files, and can make payments online (PayPal).
Roll your own API for pulling data out.
Full auditability of who edited which record, what they did, and when.Negative: Some advanced features require a lot of familiarity with how the site works, up to and including knowing database table and field names.

Not much documentation so you'll rely on support or curiosity to fill gaps in your knowledge. Takes a while to understand all the moving parts.
Some administrative menus aren't very intuitive.
The great ability to customize things means you'll need to spend a fair amount of time customizing. -

Summary: NewOrg's product has many excellent functions, but what sets it apart from other CRM and event management systems are the responsiveness of the staff. Thank you NewOrg!
Positive: Easy event management, excellent customer management, powerful and simple reporting and native in the web.
Negative: NewOrg took their time before getting into the API space, but their approach to enable access to the data is refreshing and logical - worth the wait.

Summary: Our overall experience has been extremely positive. The team is extraordinarily responsive, helpful and always design elegant solutions. They take the time to truly understand your needs and business and are super fast at delivering the results. Pricing is also beyond fair compared to other solutions. We have appreciated that.
Positive: NewOrg has met the needs of our organization for more than a decade. The team is amazing and have been able to help us find solutions as the organization grows and our needs or processes change.
Negative: A few things have not been intuitive to our business model, that said with training and use it becomes second nature and has worked and we are happy. Rarely will you find a platform that fits your model perfectly.

NewOrg is quicker implementation and less cost than other software options Date: Jun 20 2023
Summary: We are going from completely paper reliant to database reliant. It was a great process from NewOrg who got us started and helped set up our system and train us. Incredibly helpful team.
Positive: The system was customizable to our needs, very user-friendly, and has an excellent support team that is included in our monthly life cycle support fee.
Negative: We had fears of moving to a new platform but we didn't have any issues as we went through the implementation process. As a result, we can't find any cons with the system. It is a really good system.

Summary: When searching for the right software, we came across a number of systems that worked well for smaller programs but not for growth. With NewOrg, we can grow our small organization into something great without worrying about changing it in the future. This software can handle multiple users seamlessly and be customized to fit our needs. I can easily gather data for grant reports, and no longer have to create formulas to create my charts. Support service is wonderful and was another reason we chose NewOrg.
Positive: We have been able to go from using multiple spreadsheets, folders, and drives to using only one system to hold all the information we need. NewOrg not only provides great functionality for my data management needs but was able to customize a great online public-facing referral process that has cut down on the amount of manual data entry I had to do previously.
Negative: The calendar does not sync with my Google calendar for security reasons.

Great CRM for non-profit organizaitons Date: May 01 2023
Summary: We've used NewOrg as our client database and CRM for several years now. NewOrg is flexible, responsive CRM that has always met our needs, and when the needs change, the NewOrg Support and Development teams are there to support those changes. The NewOrg team is very responsive and easy to work with, and specializing in non-profit organizations, understands the unique challenges to operations in the sector. I would recommend NewOrg to any non-profit organization looking for a scalable CRM solution that can be customized to meet their unique needs.
