MySQL Migration Toolkit Description

MySQL Migration Toolkit is a software package that converts any data source to MySQL or vice versa. This product is fast because it doesn't use ODBC or other middleware software. Command line support allows you to automate, schedule, and script the conversion process. MySQL Migration Toolkit lets users do indirect conversions and gives them more control. The program converts data to a local MySQL dump file, instead of moving it directly to the MySQL server. This dump file contains MySQL statements that create tables and fill them with data. Learn how to import dump files into MySQL database. Quick Launch mode can be used after you have saved the conversion settings to your profile. Start Windows Explorer, and click on the profile description file using the left mouse button. It will launch the appropriate conversion and load the necessary settings from the specified account.
