MouseCat Description
MouseCat is an innovative AI solution designed to combat financial crime by assisting risk management teams in identifying suspicious activities, streamlining investigations, and taking action before funds can be misappropriated. This platform gains insights into a business's operations by analyzing standard procedures, past data, case notes, policies, and input from human users, enabling it to detect irregularities in transactions, accounts, devices, and counterparties. When it encounters unusual activities, MouseCat utilizes the same data accessible to human investigators to build evidence trails, clarify its reasoning, and can either escalate cases for human evaluation or autonomously act on findings with high confidence. Its capabilities extend to preventing fraud and scams, effectively identifying first-party and third-party fraud, account takeovers, scams, synthetic identities, and various suspicious activities across payment methods such as cards, ACH, wires, Zelle, checks, and cryptocurrencies. Additionally, MouseCat is proficient at analyzing historical fraud and chargeback information, proposing new rules and model features, recognizing widespread fraud patterns, and revealing coordinated activities among users, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of financial crime prevention efforts. With its advanced features, MouseCat not only protects businesses but also significantly reduces the risk of financial loss.
