    Best Platform on MacOS M1

    Date: May 25 2024

Summary: Very fast experience on M1 M2 M3 MacBook with all day battery life. I can walk around (WiFi or 5G LTE tethering) and I can trade anywhere anytime.

Positive: Very fast and reliable on Mac M1 M2 M3 series. it uses minimal CPU resources. it runs on MacBook battery for a very long time, and I don't need to plug in my MacBook so I'm mobile and feel free to walk around and still see the market.
It doesn't crash often like NinjaTrader. everything can be easily backed up and restored - unlike NinjaTrader. And the best thing... is pricing - Order Flow edition is all I need - awesome heatmap like Bookmap ($2k software) and awesome Bid xAsk volume imprint - very important for Order Flow traders.

Negative: #1. WiFi connection can lag Order Flow volume imprints. If there is a lag, I have to MANUALLY refresh all the Bids x Asks. With Ethernet, this problem is solved.
#2 Custom Indicator - very hard to DIY although I have source codes in PineScript. There is a programmer on MotiveWave forum, and his name is Spin. He's very reliable to make one for you.

    Excellent Platform

    Date: Aug 21 2022

Summary: MotiveWave is overall a top notch platform. I used E-Signal for several years and left them after ICE destroyed whatever good E-Signal had. Motive Wave has stepped up to the plate and I am grateful that they are there.

Positive: Charting, flexibility. The breadth of analyses that the platform is capable of is also very good. Ability to connect to multiple data sources is great.

Negative: Some of the objects aren’t as smooth as I would like. Overall, however, no big deal.

    Great for M1 Mac

    Date: Sep 11 2023

Summary: Very fast, efficient on M1 M2 Mac! this is a great choice for those who love to trade from an Apple MacBook, which lasts 10-20 hours on battery. Once Apple releases a MacBook with 5G LTE, mobile trading will be a reality.

Positive: - lightning fast on M1 Mac
    - great email tech support
    - Order Flow edition is more affordable than NinjaTrader and Bookmap
    - great alternative to Bookmap with similar heats and big order bubble
    - license comes with iPadOS version with limited functionalities

Negative: - not great for charting, TradingView is still the best
    - losing connection to Rithmic sometimes. However, it's a common issue among NinjaTrader and Tradovate

    Garbage. Go with another Platform

    Date: Apr 28 2024

Summary: I spent a week on it and gave up. They refused a simple $50 refund. They will be out of business soon enough. If you like graphics and charts from the 1970's computers, this is for you. If you like nice, clean, pristine charts, find a diff platform.

Positive: Nothing. Nada. Zip. Garbage. Outdated. Trash. Cheap. Non attractive. Lost in time. Waist of money. Find a different software. Save your money.

Negative: Garbage. Garbage customer Care. Garbage graphics. Garbage experience considering it didn't work and they wanted my to spend 20 hours fixing their garbage software.

    Expensive and inaccurate

    Edited: Aug 19 2022

Summary: Bad, good tools, but with bars totally different than TradingView it is almost impossible to make good charts with it.

Positive: The big variety of tools. Good UI. Look really awesome, but only looks won't help you in trading....

Negative: Candlesticks are offsync with TradingView (that is what all exchanges use).
Support won't help you when u don't upgrade every year.
Costly $2295 for full version, after that $299 a year for support and updates...
Still a few crypto exchanges possible.
