Mixxx combines the tools DJs need for creative live mixes with digital music. Mixxx supports any style of DJ, no matter if you're a beginner or an expert turntablist. Mixxx can help you find the perfect track from your library by detecting BPM and musical keys. Master sync allows you to match the beats and tempo of four songs for seamless mixing. Mixxx's features can be controlled by you using built-in mappings for your DJ controller hardware. The programmable mapping system allows you to personalize your workflow and add support of any MIDI/HID device. Sound effects can add your own unique touch to tracks. You can create your own sound effects by combining multiple effects and turning all the knobs. Turntables with timecode vinyl records can be used to control playback and scratch digital music files just like they were pressed on vinyl. Toggling vinyl passthrough mode allows you to mix music vinyls into your set.

Fully Useable Without Any Problems So Far Date: Jun 29 2023
Summary: I have been following this project for many years, and as of 2023 seems fully stable and useable software. Highly recommend. And hope people support the project financially and otherwise.
Positive: For general DJing, seems to have everything I have previously used with Traktor.
Works perfectly fine on my laptop, and I have extensive experience with CDJ2000s and Traktor.Negative: None yet.
