Play Video Weather data can be obtained via a link with its Weather API. The URL Creator can be used for this purpose. The URL is composed of properties that always follow the same structure. The Weather API is the uniform access point to a database of global weather data, making everything available as one interface: historical and current weather data, weather forecasts, climate models, data from more than 25 weather models. Meteomatics forecast of a heat wave over Spain on April 2023. The upper image shows a low-pressure system over the North Atlantic with including weather fronts. The lower image shows the temperature evolution on the Iberian Peninsula, where heat records are broken, which adds to the drought situation that already persists for months. Meteomatics forecast of stormy weather in the USA on 19-21st of April 2023. The images show that a low-pressure system over the central US brings warm and moist air from the south to the north. Severe thunderstorms are possible along the boundary where the cold dry airmass and the moist warm airmass meet.
