Mesrai Description
Mesrai serves as a collaborative AI-driven code review platform designed specifically for engineering teams. It employs a team of five specialized agents—Bug, Security, Performance, Architecture, and a Playbook agent—to meticulously evaluate each pull request, utilizing a comprehensive graph of your codebase that details the effects of every modification across both monorepos and various repositories. The review process features inline feedback that includes severity ratings and recommended improvements, while Mesrai also monitors DORA metrics to assess the overall health of engineering practices. Users can utilize their own LLM key and make payments directly to their chosen provider. The reviews take place in temporary sandboxes, ensuring that your code is never utilized for training purposes. Additionally, Mesrai offers compatibility with a VS Code extension, command-line interface (CLI), and various MCP plugins, making it a versatile tool for developers. This platform enhances collaborative efforts while promoting best practices in code quality and security.

Caught a CSRF risk my tests never would Edited: Oct 06 2026
Summary: Good at catching mistakes that don't fail any test. It only comments, so I stay in control, and $6 per active developer with your own model key is easy to justify.
Positive: The whole-repo context makes the difference. On a Flask PR it flagged a delete route using GET as a CSRF risk, explained why a link or image tag could trigger it, and gave a confidence score with a before/after fix.
Negative: Young product with a short track record. The suggested-change button replaced one line with a whole function, so I applied the fix by hand from the before/after snippet.

Reviews PRs with real codebase context, not just the diff Date: Oct 04 2026
Summary: Mesrai has become part of our PR workflow at our company. It reviews each pull request with context from the whole codebase, so the comments are relevant to our code instead of generic, and the feedback is easy to act on. I would recommend it to engineering teams looking for AI code review that understands their codebase.
Positive: Mesrai reviews pull requests with context from the whole repository, so its comments go beyond the lines that changed. We currently using it for our dev team since 1 year. I especially like the Jira/Linear ticket check / custom review rules / the CLI / bringing our own model key; keep only what you actually use. It is quick to set up on GitHub/GitLab.
Negative: It is a newer product with a smaller community and fewer third-party reviews than established tools.
