This MRP software is easy to use. It comes with a User Guide that provides help on each screen. Follow the Work-Flow on your Home Screen (see SOFTWARE page) and you'll quickly see how easy it is to use the powerful Merlin MRP System. You can use a combination stock control and the MRP process to determine exactly which items you want in stock. There are also options for Minimum Stock Levels and items that you wish to purchase on a JiT basis. This can be done by selecting single jobs or groups. The system will analyze your production jobs and generate work orders for subassemblies. It will then schedule and auto-create the subassembly jobs. It will then drill down for shortages of materials according the BoM (Bill of Materials), and create Purchase Orders and Delivery Schedules based on the start dates of the jobs.
