    Almost Perfect

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall, the system is very close to perfect. The user experience is smooth, intuitive, and requires minimal training. Page‑to‑page transitions feel seamless, and real‑time notifications, especially for declined combo applications, add meaningful value. With a few improvements to dropdown responsiveness and notification visibility, the platform could easily reach a flawless workflow.

Positive: The system is easy to use with very little training needed. It flows smoothly from page to page, and gives real‑time updates, especially when an applicant responds to a web message and a combo application is declined.

Negative: Some dropdowns don’t load right away, forcing you to exit and reopen the application. Notifications are limited, and it would help to get alerts for every status change. Current alerts are easy to miss and would benefit from a pop‑up or sound.

System Review: MeridianLink Consumer Performance and Usability

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall, MeridianLink Consumer is a solid and reliable system that helps me stay organized and ensure loans are processed accurately and compliantly. While it’s not always the most intuitive or efficient to navigate, it still plays a key role in helping me deliver a consistent and positive experience for members, as well as supporting the team’s overall success

Positive: Keeps the focus on their experience, not the system
    Reinforces trust: organized, secure, accurate
Aligns with your members-first approach (you’re making it feel easy for them, not technical)

Negative: Some actions (like loading or submitting) can take a bit
Can slow down the flow of a member conversation if you’re waiting
Often bouncing between MeridianLink, DocuSign, etc.

As a daily user of MeridianLink Opening:

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall this Product is an 8/10 based on user experience alone. There are times when the system crashes, basic glitches, connection loss, and other items to improve stability, but it functions as expected. As a user for two years, this is simple and effective. As someone coming into this system, I don't believe it should be as complex as it currently is to find mistakes, correct errors, or figure out issues.

Positive: - Easy to use after short training.
    - Difficult (not impossible) to make errors during opening.
    - Versatility in all different types of products.
    - Does not let you proceed with errors in most if not all important sections.

Negative: There are specific sections (Application information as an example) that can be confusing to a new user.
This product has essentials but is not useable to someone to just "pick up and use". Without training one could not go through and open a new account without a procedure or training.
I believe this could be helped by simply adding icons to see descriptions of what certain items mean/where it found said information/guides/examples of correct inputs)

    Overall Rating: 4/5

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: My experience with MeridianLink Opening has been positive overall. It has helped improve efficiency in the account opening process and provides a convenient digital solution for both employees and members. While there are areas that could be improved, particularly regarding speed and workflow simplification, it remains a valuable tool for managing new account applications and enhancing the member experience.

Positive: MeridianLink Opening is user-friendly and helps streamline the account opening process for both staff and members. The platform integrates well with existing systems, reducing manual data entry and improving efficiency. The workflow is intuitive, making it easier to process applications and track progress. It also provides a good member experience through digital account opening and document collection.

Negative: At times, the system can be slow to load or navigate between screens. Some processes require multiple steps that could be simplified, and troubleshooting certain application issues may require assistance from support. Additional customization and reporting options would also be beneficial.

    MeridianLink Review

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: It's okay... Want to be able to make changes without having to ask underwriting to do if it had the status originally

Positive: The fact we can go a head and choose the best fit option for the credit and the original request of the member.

Negative: When changes have to be made and the items we select don't save and gives an error message.

    MeridianLink Acct Opening

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: I have enjoyed using MeridianLink for account openings. There is a lot of flexibility on what we can do on our end to make it work for our specific needs as a credit union.

Positive: MeridianLink has great integration with our Core, is visually appealing, and easy to understand, and is organized neatly.

Negative: You have to click twice frequently, once to click off an app and once to click on it. I also think its weird how some of the pop-ups aren't in modern experience.

    Easy to Use

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall, I enjoy using this product every day! It makes my job as a loan officer easy. I like the color coded feature and ability to add comments without needing to open the application.

Positive: Consumer friendly interface, easy to quote members and make changes to applications! Color coded interface makes it easy to organize at a glance.

Negative: Sometimes comments do not save, but other than that there are not many issues.

    MeridianLink Opening review

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Good, easy to read and navigate, missing the color coded applications by type, comments by user was also helpful.

Positive: Easy to read and navigate, clean view, less information required, while I like the view everything looks the same.

Negative: Saving errors, hate that the color feature for applications and comments are gone.

A Flexible Platform That Adapts to Your Institution

    Date: Jun 11 2026

Summary: Overall, MeridianLink Opening is a solid account opening platform with a lot of functionality and customization options. While there are some workflow and integration challenges that we'd like to see improved, particularly around member number creation and funding, the platform has helped us expand our digital account opening capabilities and gives us the flexibility to build processes that fit our organization.

Positive: MeridianLink Opening offers a lot of flexibility and customization, which is one of its biggest strengths. There are plenty of options available to tailor products, workflows, and the overall account opening experience to fit our needs. The platform supports a variety of account types and integrates with many third-party systems. I also appreciate the regular enhancements and new features.

Negative: One of our biggest frustrations is the Symitar integration. Because a member number isn't generated until the account is created, we can't populate that information on documents before the account opening process is complete. This creates extra steps and workarounds for our staff. The funding process could also be more streamlined, as it doesn't always feel like a natural flow for the member. Some areas of the platform can be complex to configure, and reporting isn't always as intuitive as we'd like.

    MeridianLink

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall the program is good, there could be some minor changes to make it a more seamless experience. When there are certain errors it will give a code instead of saying what the actual error is which can cause some inconvenience. Other than that it is easy to use.

Positive: I like that it is easy to navigate. I like how the different statues are color coded so that it's easy to manage your queue.

Negative: There is a lot of lag and crashing at times. I also do not like that you have to manually press save for every change. Autosave would save a lot of time and ensure better accuracy.

ML was better before the upgrade imo

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: Overall MeridianLink is very easy to use. I just prefer the older version best. Had less issues. Which I know the newer version may just still have kinks to work out.

Positive: I love the flow of MeridianLink. It is easy to use and easy to navigate. It gives warnings when needed. Overall the flow is nice.

Negative: I don't like the new look. It runs together and is easier to overlook places. Also the new MeridianLink glitches and doesn't save information a lot. Gets frustrating.

    My MeridianLink Feedback

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: I think it's a great software to use in general. I've noticed how more updates are being released which has helped with my experience with it!

Positive: User friendly, has gotten quicker with recent updates, different colors make it easier to arrange status on loans.

Negative: Still some minor bugs on software such as giving errors when searching for member's branch and not saving when half if the vehicles if is typed.

    Access Improvements

    Date: Jun 12 2026

Summary: The portal product for online applications is very difficult to use and customize. Access makes it a bit easier, but when you change one thing, it can inadvertently effect other stuff so you have to retest the entire application process to verify that everything works still. Changing multiple things can be cumbersome. Also, in the backend, settings have to be changed in multiple places to work correctly and make sure mapping doesn't break to your core systems.

Positive: The Access product is easier and more customizable than the Portal product, which is nice. It was extremely difficult to customize the portal applications as you could change which page contained which questions.

Negative: Interaction between online experience and backend setup could be better. First line support folks need trained better for new products.
