Mentava’s daily tutor software helps students prepare for college-level mathematics and computer science even before they graduate from high school. Early literacy is associated with academic achievement, higher grades, and a higher graduation rate. Our daily tutor can teach kids as young 2 to read fluently within a year. They are driven to learn to walk and talk, as well as to explore the world. Reading and math are just the next steps to help them understand the world. We find that our 5-year-olds are able to master 2 years of math within a year by spending about 20 minutes per day. They can then enter the 1st grade prepared to do 4th grade math. Mentava’s reading curriculum is delivered via our software-based daily tutorial. It is designed to turn a student who has never had any literacy instruction into an independent reader. The program is designed to take less than a calendar year and focus on reading fluency in order to prepare children for math.
