Membertech Reviews

eMembership is a cloud union management platform from Winmill Software, designed from the ground up for labor unions rather than adapted from a generic CRM. Its data model reflects how unions actually work: members tied to employers, contracts, and dues classifications, with remittance arriving from multiple employers at once. Winmill owns and operates the physical infrastructure behind eMembership instead of renting capacity from a public cloud provider. The equipment sits in a colocation facility that holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 audit reports and ISO 27001 certification, and Winmill maintains HIPAA Security Rule and PCI DSS compliance for the eMembership environment. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Unions connect eMembership to the tools they already use through an open REST API and prebuilt integrations with QuickBooks, Great Plains, Mailchimp, SendGrid, Twilio, Stripe, PayPal, DocuSign, and others. Staff work in a web application, while members use a native iOS and Android app or a web portal that reads and writes the same database in real time. Functionality is split into 18 modules, so a union licenses only what it needs and adds more later. Two releases ship each year as part of the subscription. Pricing is set by module, never by seat or member count. Winmill has been building software since 1994 and launched eMembership in 2008. Today, 55+ labor unions across North America rely on it.

Compete Member Management Software by Jonas Fitness is club management software designed for gyms, fitness clubs, health clubs, medical fitness centers, and hospital wellness facilities that need a stronger operational foundation. Compete combines membership management, billing and invoicing, contract management, member check-in, attendance tracking, scheduling, reporting, and front desk workflows in one configurable system built for real-world club operations. Compete is a strong fit for multi-location fitness businesses, larger independent clubs, and wellness organizations with layered services, varied membership structures, and more demanding day-to-day workflows. Facilities can manage memberships, services, classes, instructors, and other operational moving parts while maintaining the flexibility to support how their business actually runs. Jonas Fitness takes an open ecosystem approach, allowing customers to connect the software they need for online joining, member messaging, mobile app experiences, payments, and other integrated workflows. That makes Compete a practical choice for operators who want club management software that can adapt to their business instead of forcing them into a rigid one-size-fits-all model. For buyers comparing gym management software, membership management software, health club software, medical fitness software, or hospital wellness software, Compete stands out for configurability, operational depth, and fit for organizations with more complexity than lightweight gym software can handle.
