Another textbook giant that's worth nothing

    Date: Nov 23 2020

Summary: If you can get your department to use a less well known textbook publisher, do it. You'll probably have better results. It may not have as many bells and whistles as McGraw-Hill, but the content is what matters most. Every week of homework shouldn't require a call to support over the fact that the students are losing points because the software itself expects them to give wrong answers! It's a nightmare to use. I suppose I must give them props that they actually will correct the answers though, so that's something, but it's not worth the headache to me.

Positive: The best thing I can say about this company is that when you find that one of their questions has an incorrect answer, they'll usually fix the issue within 24 hours and you can go back and fix the issues your students are having with their homework.

Negative: The textbook giants that are forced on teachers all are poorly written messes, and the overpriced tech is no different in quality. Incorrect answer after incorrect answer makes you wonder if any experts in these fields ever glanced some of the content they put in here for homework. On a student end, it's also a pain to use because it's so overly specific and unusual in how it wants your to answer things. Couple that with many incorrect answers and absurd prices, I hate having to use this on any end.
