MakeMyBOQ Reviews

MakeMyBOQ Description

MakeMyBOQ is an online software tool specifically designed for construction quantity takeoff, catering to a diverse range of users including contractors, builders, engineers, architects, and homeowners who need to create bills of quantities. This software supports various formats like PDF or DWG for plans, sections, elevations, and structural drawings, and incorporates AI technology to accurately measure construction elements by trades in accordance with IS 1200 standards. Users have the flexibility to select either a structural-only scope or a comprehensive whole-house scope, as well as their preferred measurement units, whether metric or imperial. Additionally, the platform allows for the generation of a bar bending schedule upon request. The output formats provide an Excel workbook that includes an abstract, a detailed itemized BOQ, and a measurement sheet, along with a PDF containing marked-up drawings that display the measurements. Calculation rows within the workbook clearly outline the workings and any deductions applied. Users can input their own pricing or refer to a schedule of rates such as DSR, since the software focuses on providing quantities rather than set prices. Tailored for the Indian construction industry, the platform includes an interactive sample house for users to explore; furthermore, self-service options with clients’ personal drawings are set to be launched in stages. This approach aims to enhance user experience and streamline the quantity takeoff process efficiently.
