Mailfence Edited: Jun 11 2021
Summary: Great experience and great service I would recommend it to anyone who would want a little more privacy and security.
Positive: The complete tool kit which is just amazing to replace gsuite. That plus the ease of use that Mailfence offer.
Best secure email!Negative: The fact that I couldn't have my own @without a domain, that being said I didn't know I needed one when I tried.

Great service Date: Apr 30 2021
Summary: After 3 companies, only Mailfence was able to do this import perfectly. Great service, great product.
Positive: After using Gmail for longtime, with our server mail, we decided to move to protected and scripted emails. But the import go our hundreds of folders and thousands of emails (10Gb) showed to be the impossible mission.
Negative: We don't see any cons. All the experience until now is great.

A good alternative to gmail Date: Jun 10 2024
Summary: A nice experience till now, no complains so far. Would recommend this product to everyone who is tired of Google's tracking.
Positive: It is very easy to use, and incase, you are stuck somewhere, they also have blogs detailing the entire encryption process. I have purchased the base plan for now, but I think I will stick to Mailfence service.
Negative: The mobile app does not support all the features that the desktop interface has, but it is still good enough.

If you're into privacy, consider Mailfence Date: Feb 20 2022
Summary: If you're into privacy, check Mailfence. It's a great competitor with other privacy-respecting e-mail providers, like ProtonMail, for example.
Positive: Privacy: Mailfence collects so little data compared with Google, Facebook and other giants in the market, and it doesn't sell or share your data.
Encryption: Mailfence recommends you use a strong password, 2 Factor Authentication and PGP, it even has a PGP key generator, where they make your PGP key and uploads it to a server (if you would like to).Negative: The interface looks a bit off for me, they haven't introduced dark mode until recently, but you'll get accustomed with it.

They also don't have POP/IMAP on the free plan, but for 2,50 € (About $2,83 on February 20th 2022) you get that functionality. -

Great alternative to Big Tech emails Date: Jan 19 2022
Summary: While I wish there was an app to install and give me consistent notifications, the web app on mobile is good and on PC it's great. The extra cloud storage and calendar functions are awesome, if restrictive in the free version. Do highly recommend overall.
Positive: The security, transparency, and reliability are great. Love the fact that I have options other than Gmail and Outlook.
Negative: No android app available, even on F-Droid.

Free version's calendar is a bit too restrictive.
Literally cannot use for Apple account because it's so unknown as a service. -

From Gmail to Mailfence Date: Jun 28 2021
Summary: Very good, especially the security, and the high quality, informative support. It's still in its infancy so there's room for strong growth.
Positive: High security email system, no tracking, no watching, no frills but so what? I'm happy with this product and its design.
Negative: The lack of choice about interface design but it's ok.
