MaestroAR Description

MaestroAR®, which provides procedure-specific learning in 3D Augmented Reality on both FlexVR™, and dVTrainer®, robotic surgery simulators, is available. MaestroAR® is based on real surgical procedures and allows trainees to fully immerse themselves in the procedure by using the simulator for control of virtual robotic instruments that interact with anatomical regions. Maestro AR® offers opportunities to learn procedural knowledge and to improve decision-making skills. The trainee is guided step-by-step through a robot-assisted surgical procedure by internationally-recognized robotic surgeon instructors. The trainee uses virtual 3D robotic tools to answer questions, interact with anatomical areas, and practice virtual reality skills.
