MACCS Description

MACCS(c), which allows Federal agencies and businesses, to track and manage all credit card purchases. It also creates accounting obligation transactions at cardholder entry or authorization. It can import card transactions via diskette or electronically from the credit card processing centre and reconcile those transactions with cardholder's transactions. MACCS(c), which handles card transaction disputes and credit tracking and processing can establish disbursement accounting transactions using reconciled records authorized to payment and can automatically forward them into an existing enterprise accounting system for processing.
