    Very Good Basic accounting Program

    Summary: My overall experience is very good and I would highly recommend it, for anyone looking for a easy to use basic program

    Positive: You can set up your accounts pretty much as you like. It is pretty simple to use, altho it did take a little figuring out how some things worked at first. You can print out anything from any time frame. It is easy to back up or copy . You can't beat the price .

    Negative: entering payments you have to enter the names each time. You can't create a list of names to choose from. If you want to zero income and expense accounts at yearend , you must do it manually

    Thanks James for the great review. When entering payments you can use the Duplicate function to copy an earlier payment and just edit the details. Regarding I and E accounts there's a function "Zero I/E Accounts" on the Maintain menu that generates the ledger entry for year end if you really want to do that. However LedgerLite doesn't require it because all figures for balance sheets and income statements are generated dynamically. But old habits die hard!
