Knorr is a plugin which adds intensity to monophonic low-frequency audio sources (like a bass). The algorithm adds overtones and distortion to existing sounds in a way that isn’t possible with normal filtering or distortion. The algorithm uses a combination filtering, frequency modulation, and amplitude-modulation to process the incoming audio. Knorr was designed to be used with bass sounds in mind. However, it can also be used with any monophonic source of audio as long as there is audio content in the low-mids.
