Kismet Description

Kismet can be used with Bluetooth interfaces, Wi-Fi interfaces and some SDR (software defined radio), hardware such as the RTLSDR and other specialized capture hardware. Kismet is compatible with Linux, OSX, and Windows 10 under the WSL framework. It works on Linux with all Wi-Fi cards, Bluetooth interfaces and other hardware devices. It works with OSX's built-in WiFi interfaces. On Windows 10, it can be used with remote captures. If you wish to support Kismet development financially, there are many ways you can do so. Support is always appreciated but not required. Kismet is open source and will remain so. Kismet-2018-Beta1 or newer supports plugins that extend the WebUI functionality via Javascript, browser-side enhancements and the more traditional Kismet plugin architecture in C++ plugins. These plugins can be used to extend the server functionality at an extremely low level.
