    Summary: When communicating with Trent from Kindrid, he has told us that we can either switch to the new number or instruct our members to stop using text-to-give and instead give through our giving portal. If we have to use a new phone number it will be with a new vendor.

    Positive: We chose Kindrid as a safe simple and affordable solution for our text-to-give needs.

    Negative: The first 3 1/2 years of working with Kindrid were fine. If I was reviewing them during that time I would have given them 4 out of 5 stars. When problems did occur during that period they addressed them quickly. At the beginning of this month their product stopped working for us due to changes in their platform. The only solution they could offer was for us to use a new phone number for text-to-give. We have invested $2,000 in print material that includes the phone number we've been using for the past 3 1/2 years. To switch to a new number means that money was wasted.
