Kerkythea is freeware software that produces high-quality renders without the need for software licensing. Kerkythea uses physically accurate materials and lights to achieve the best quality rendering. It also aims to make it easy to set up scenes using the GL real time viewer, material editor, general/render setting, editors, etc. under a common interface. Kerkythea can be used to render your models. It's now available for all major platforms Windows and Linux, as well as MacOSX. It can accept.3ds and.obj files, and has a powerful free exporter for SketchUp.
