KanoPool Description

KanoPool, a Bitcoin mining pool, uses the Solo payout and PPLNS methods. The pool can start you mining at 8190 difficulty. The pool adjusts per instance difficulty to maintain an average share rate of 18 shares per minute. There is a lower limit on the difficulty at 442. A password is not required to mine. Instead, use X as your password in your miner. Most miners require you to enter a password. You may need a tcping program to determine how close nodes are to yours. Some nodes can't be pinged using a standard ping. Your miner worker name is whatever you want and will be created automatically when your miner connects with the pool. The stratum Kano nodes can be found in West-USA. You can randomly choose Los Angeles or Phoenix. You may also find other servers around the globe. Each of these servers allows mining to ports 3333, 80 and 81, 443 or 8080, as well as the main stratum server.
