    JCAD CORE as an ERM Tool

    Summary: Fulfilled 95% of our needs for an ERM Tool. Together with good price-quality ratio, it was easy to choose the JCAD Core compared to other alternatives.
    Easy to use and very configurable. Also easy to disable functionalities that were not necessary for us to make it simple enough.

    Positive: JCAD CORE is easy to use. The User module is simple enough and logical. Also the Admin module enables you to easily modify e.g. organization structure, risk breakdown structure and permissions. The system was also very configurable to fulfill our needs when it comes to e.g. terms and different views.

    Negative: The appearance of the system is a bit outdated, but a new version is coming which is expected to make the look and feel more modern. There has been some limitation in certain functionalities, but some of these will be fixed in the new version.

    JCAD - Wouldn't change it!

    Summary: I have used JCAD for a number of years now and really can't fault it. The Board particularly like the reports that are generated for them via the system.
    I have trained numerous members of staff on navigating/updating the risk profiles with no issues.
    I also use the system for tracking internal audit recommendations/findings and report monthly on these from the report library.

    Positive: The JCAD system is very user friendly and can be tailored at set up stage to best suit your organisational needs.
    It's straightforward screens make it especially easy to navigate for risk and non risk professionals alike.
    Updates from JCAD are regular to ensure the system is always operating efficiently and the support team are always on hand to answer any queries that may crop up.

    Negative: The only con I can find, and it may be a user issue i.e. me, is that customising/manipulating reports isn't always that easy. However, that said, the support team are always on hand to assist with this.
