Summary: Intrexx is the right tool for digitalisation and automation. Companies can develop tools without high effort.

Positive: Intrexx as Saas und Paas offers speed and agility in the development of web applications. External classes can be integrated through the Java openness of the platform and individual development is possible. The supplied Groovy APIs and JS APIs are powerful and deliver high performance. The three integrated programming languages ​​Groovy, JavaScript and Velocity work hand in hand thanks to these APIs and enable the use of all common development methods. The process modeling section enables processes and workflows to be mapped and automated quickly. Various layouts can also be created and implemented. Standards such as Windows authentication, multi-tenancy and a wide range of interfaces such as REST, ODBC, common Microsoft products and much more are supported and function reliably.

Negative: Some problems can only be solved with programming skills.

Summary: Overall this is a decent solution for your internal digitalization. Not only intranet but also for the digitalization of things that was before always done on paper or in bad excels in your organization. Overall a good fit as realization of new things is really quick and therefore cheap. It's possible to have internal application managers who can create applications without developers - we use an external agency for that, but it's also possible to do this in-house with no coding skills (of course technical understanding is necessary).

Positive: - It's easy with Intrexx to implement applications for gathering information within the company that are directly processed and tasks are distributed to people who have to do the job.
- in comparison to other tools the realization is quick and therefore cost effective.
- an integrated app store allows to implement applications like social networks etc. with just a few clicks.
- we use Intrexx as our intranet solution. We use basic intranet features but are connected to lot of other internal systems. e.g. the identity management. This basic intranet is enriched with Intrexx apps like Share (Social Network) but also with several custom applications like event management, educational management tools etc. Realization of this in comparison to other platforms was quite easy too.

Negative: - html code produced sometimes seems not to allow the flexibility needed for cutting edge ux. Although everything is possible here this is often extra effort. I think this is as the application is structured in a way its done by the Intrexx framework which you have limited control over (core). within this, flexibility is limited.

Summary: Most customers visualize existing content and processes distributed so far in various applications and databases within their intranet, to make it easy accessible for the many co-workers.

Positive: Intrexx supports my clients whenever functionality is missing in their standard application landscape.
Development is much cheaper and fast (time to market) compared to individual software development.
Intrexx makes business processes more efficient.
Single sign on works well and we would miss it in many integrations.
Supports us in agile project management and is shorten the lead-time to the customer.

Negative: Standard Apps developed by UP are not fulfilling customer needs, individual App development is in some cases faster and more efficient.
It would be great, if UP improves App quality and functionality.
License Pricing model is not the most flexible one!

Summary: Really a great product, which deserves much more attention. I can only recommend Intrexx to you, it is worth it for your business!

Positive: The best thing about Intrexx is its simplicity. On the one hand, you can already achieve an extremely large amount without coding, and on the other hand, with additional coding (Javascript, Velocity & Groovy), all conceivable business cases can be realized. It is suitable for everyone!

Negative: So in very few places Intrexx could be even more intuitive, but that is whining on a high level.

Summary: Together with Intrexx we were able to set up our own business-apps based on our own needs. This helps us to set the focus on our core-business.

Positive: Very fast and easy way to create business applications, full featured interfaces to implement other systems, even state-of-the-art systems like Azure AD, GraphAPI, AWS, Google and many more. The front-end is very nice looking and available for nearly all platforms.

Negative: Still no way to use offline functions ootb, but gives all interfaces to develop such solutions.

Summary: Inexpensive, fast pace tool for digital workplaces, intranet sites and process optimization.

Positive: Easy to use, very good interface system, highly individual at low costs. digital process optimization with low effort

Negative: Disregarding that Intrexx features website with all that limitations websites have, there are no big cons. One my want to have more control on how Intrexx portals may interact.

Summary: Overall a good platform we use for our Intranet and for digital processes. Not really low-code if you need complex apps and workflows.

Positive: Easy to use: Flexibility, responsive design.
Interfaces good to other software systems.
Database is MS SQL.

Negative: Standard Apps are not useful. All apps we use have been programmed from scratch.

Summary: From the extranet as a portal to use in Industry 4.0, Intrexx as a low-code expert ensures fast and easy implementation.

Positive: With Intrexx, projects can be implemented more quickly. Why? The answer is quite simple.With the help of low code, it is possible to create entire portals within a very short time. The needs of the customer are put in the foreground. Furthermore, the individualization and adaptation to existing landscape is possible without any problems.

Negative: Intrexx is process-driven. In other words, the customer must know and understand their own processes.

Summary: If you want to presenting calculated data out of your data base in a graph, saving some files with comments or references to other data or sending weekly e-mails for upcoming dead lines, Intrexx does a very good job in no time.
And developing an application in Intrexx is faster than developing an application from scratch also there are a few templates and ready-to-use applications.

Positive: One of the good things in Intrexx is developing multiple application in one portal so you don't need 10 single applications on your system.
Another great feature is the permission system where you can configure who can see which application or use which button.
You can also create your own design for your intranet to get a focus of what is important and the best user experience.
With Javascript, Groovy and Velocity (and even importing Java libraries) you can do much more.

Negative: .. and there comes the contra part: it is called low-code development but if you what to create some applications with more functions than just showing something or add/save some data in your data base you will reach the end of low-code quite fast. Most of the time there is not that much to code in comparison to develop an actual program. But the worst part in it is there is almost no debugging function in Intrexx - it almost feels like coding in a blank texteditor - and makes coding really exhausting.

Summary: Overall Intrexx is a great product for digitalization, because it is very flexible and easy to use.

Positive: The ease of use and the integration with other software is very good. It is a great platform for company internal affairs.

Negative: The branding of Intrexx could be better, it is not very well known by others.

Summary: Very good tool, but if you want to use more than the basic 25% it requires training and SW-development knowledge.

Positive: With Intrexx you can design almost every kind of intranet for your company. On a basic level it is very easy to learn and to design pages and subpages and even getting you third-party systems integrated (e.g. in our case the ERP).

Negative: On a more sophisticated level, you definitely need training courses and development experience (java and groovy) e.g to develop more complex site connections and request. For us it was for example quite hard getting a simple .xlsx-import running.

Summary: Unique insight into the possibilities of digitization. Various possibilities to implement different Use cases.

Positive: User-friendliness, flexibility in connection with good integration and various possibilities to implement future requirements. You can create a lot of ideas with Intrexx.

Negative: The competition is certainly even greater at the moment. In addition, the development environment, including debugging options, can still be expanded.

Summary: A powerful development platform that enables rapid digitization within a company through low-code...

Positive: With the portal solution from Intrexx, we have developed an internal company portal. It simplifies internal communication and digital collaboration enormously. Day-to-day work is, for example, considerably simplified by the compressed quick access and the digital document filing, which manages general documents centrally. The mapping of digital processes makes work more efficient and saves time. Now we can also use the vacation planner clearly from the portal by converting it into a digital application.
I am a user and an administrator of the portal and therefore I can judge the intuitive and smart usability of the portal from both sides!

Negative: It would be nice to have more options in terms of the design of the front end.

Summary: As a low-code platform, Intrexx supports the individual and efficient digitization of a company's data, documents, and processes. Starting with a single application up to a complete enterprise portal, it integrates external services and data and offers fast and simple solutions for problems of any complexity and for companies of any size.

Positive: With Intrexx, its possible to build clean and fast platform architectures, individually developed for processes and applications. Be it a single application for mapping and digitizing a business process or a complete enterprise portal. With the "low-code" framework Intrexx, its easy to integrate external services such as SAP and create a hub for all data, documents, and processes in the company.
Workflows become more efficient and understandable, so that everyone in the company has more time for the essentials and saves on redundant tasks.

Negative: Without experience, complicated requirements can quickly lead to technical debt. If bad decisions were made at the beginning of a development, it is often difficult to eliminate them later and it is often faster to redo the whole application.

Summary: I think Intrexx is a powerful tool especially for developers with few experience in programming and coding.

Positive: Intrexx is less a non-code developer tool than a low-code tool. In order to be able to exploit the full potential of it you need basic knowledge in coding and database structure. It works great for developers with few experience in programming or coding. The Intrexx- training program familiarizes you with the program. Due to the framework, you are able to create applications after a relatively short learning period.

Negative: In order to be able to unlock the full potential and to circumvent certain limitations, a certain level of Java/Groovy is required.
