A Practical Platform for Continuous Performance and Goal Management Date: Sep 22 2025
Summary: Overall, Inspire has helped us strengthen performance management by giving structure to our goal-setting process and by creating more transparency across the organization. Employees feel more engaged because expectations are clearer, and managers appreciate having an ongoing framework for feedback and recognition. While we had to put in effort during implementation, the support team made a big difference and continues to be responsive whenever we need them. For HR teams looking to bring structure and alignment without losing flexibility, Inspire is a solid choice.
Positive: Inspire has brought a noticeable improvement to how we manage performance and OKRs. One of the biggest changes for us is the way individual objectives now are been documented separately along with the company priorities & team OKRs. The dashboards and the strategy narrative give leaders a clear view of progress, while managers are better equipped to guide performance conversations with their teams.
The integration with Jira has been particularly valuable, as it links day-to-day tasks with OKRs and ensures progress is reflected automatically without extra effort. I also find the 1:1 feedback capture very useful — it means that during appraisal discussions, we can look back at actual conversations and feedback instead of relying on memory. The goal-setting process itself feels easier and more structured, with SMART goals built into regular workflows rather than treated as an annual exercise.
I also want to highlight the support team, and especially Soujanya, who has been extremely patient and thorough throughout setup. Having reliable guidance not just during rollout but even beyond made the transition & adoption much smoother for us.Negative: The initial learning curve is real, especially for teams not used to structured OKRs or Performance Management tool. Some advanced features still need admin support to set up properly.

Summary: If you’re looking for a performance and recognition platform with strong support and a team that listens to its users, Inspire is worth considering.
Positive: * Excellent customer support. Nicole, Kyle, and Haley are responsive, easy to work with, and genuinely helpful. They take time to understand our questions and help us work through complex issues.
* Customizable performance and recognition tools. We’ve been able to tailor the platform to fit our team’s needs, which has made it more effective.
* They listen to feedback. We’ve seen product updates based on our input, which shows they’re committed to improving the user experience.
* Auto-save is coming soon. This will be a helpful addition to the review process.Negative: * Team goal setting is still a bit complicated. It takes some effort to manage and align goals across teams, but Inspire is actively working on making this easier.

Summary: Most leadership within my organization are not enamored with the concept of peers grading peers, but I can see the overall big picture. Inspire is one of the systems that you learn and continue to learn from, never wanting to turn away from it, as it represents cutting-edge technology, and the support received from Inspire is truly unmatched. Positive: I love how objective goals are broken down into key results whose progress can be modified and updated throughout the Performance Cycle. You can use the progress report as a check off list to ensure all basis are covered and there is no reason we should not accomplish all team or individual goals!
Negative: I regret we did not turn on objectives sooner! Most leadership within my org do not love the idea of peers grading peers, but I can see the overall big picture.

Easy to use software that keeps me organized and motivated Date: Dec 20 2024
Summary: Overall, I find Inspire Software easy to use, both as an employee who uses it to manage my own performance and as a manager tracking conversations, goals and performance for six direct reports. I've also found the team at Inspire to be helpful, from providing training for our staff during key moments of the year to being responsive when questions arise.
Positive: Inspire Software has made it much easier for keeping up with the conversations and actions items from my regular 1-1 meetings. I also like that my team and I can jointly create agendas for these meetings and can advance plan by putting things on the agenda weeks in advance. As someone who likes to check things off lists and chart progress, checking in on goals and seeing the percentages toward my goals is motivating. It has also been fun to explore the built-in AI features.
Negative: I haven't run into any issues using Inspire Software. In the last year, my HR team had asked me to provide do a live demo using the software. As part of the session, I had planned to provide feedback on wishing I could add to 1-1 agenda farther in advance than the 1-2 weeks that were available. Before I could provide that suggestion, I realized they had already updated the system to make this possible, which was exciting.

Summary: Overall, it has been beneficial to manage our OKRs. It helps to have visuals, dashboards, and reports. We continue to expand our knowledge and use, as these grow and develop the tool will become even more impactful.
Positive: It is nice to have a tool that can organize our OKRs, the progress, owners, and actions. Before we were managing in Excel and in different formats. The Help feature is excellent. It has helped us stay more focused and intentional with our OKRs.
Negative: There is a bit of a learning curve, and it is not always intuitive. It would be helpful to have more ease to add links to additional information supporting the OKR.
