ICx Description
Incident Command: The concept for ICx was born out of frustration with the digital command options available. We wanted something that could be used in our jobs and would work well during emergency response. It should be as simple as creating a tactical worksheet, keeping a detailed record of resource assignments, tracking individual members, providing several scene timers, as well as not requiring a steep learning curve. We created the first version and put it in service to test it. Our emergency scenes were more organized overnight, which resulted in safer incidents. After testing it in our department, the software was sold to several early-adopter agencies. We took their input and developed what we have today. It is an intuitively designed tactical worksheet which integrates staffing to create an accountability tool.
